Our goal is to support public transport authorities in Australia and New Zealand to reduce carbon emissions, improve operational performance, and accelerate the transition to greener mobility.

 Through ZEST (Zero Emissions and Sustainable Transport), we are bringing together the full spectrum of expertise– from design and delivery to operations and maintenance- to deliver low and zero-emission solutions. By combining global knowledge with local insight, ZEST enables us to:

• Double and triple the share of kilometres travelled by alternative energy buses by 2030

• Reduce carbon intensity per kilometre by 30% by 2030 (compared to 2019)

• Increase ISO 14001 certified operations to 80% by 2030

ZEST also fosters collaboration across the industry, sharing international best practice and developing a local ecosystem of partners. It provides hands-on opportunities for graduates and young professionals to contribute directly to Australia’s energy transition in public transport. 

With a pipeline of 200+ electric buses planned for Australia, Keolis is leading the journey towards a zero-emission future, delivering sustainable, integrated networks that support communities and cities while reducing environmental impact.
