Through Hornibrook Bus Lines, Keolis Australia and New Zealand holds the current fourth-generation contract with TransLink for the Northern Brisbane service area. This contract encompasses services across Redcliffe, North Lakes, Kallangur, and Petrie, including the key service corridor to Chermside.

We are committed to delivering safe, reliable, and customer-focused public transport across these communities.

Our services connect customers to key rail hubs including Sandgate Station, Kippa-Ring Station and other stations along the Kippa-Ring line, as well as Petrie Station — providing seamless access to the broader Queensland Rail (QR) network.

  • A key focus of the business is transitioning the fleet from diesel to electric buses. This transition commenced at the North Lakes Depot in 2023 and has successfully introduced 16 Volvo BZL electric buses into the local TransLink service area.

  • In 2024 and 2025, two of our drivers were recognised as TransLink Southeast Queensland Drivers of the Year, selected from approximately 1,500 nominations annually.

  • Safety and training are core priorities. We operate a comprehensive Safety Management System and invest in ongoing driver development across customer service, fatigue management, and defensive driving.

  • The current fleet is 100% Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) accessible, featuring low-floor buses with wheelchair access and priority seating. Customers are supported with real-time journey updates through TransLink channels.
